Try to log in to my app but when I click on ”next”, nothing happens, but I receive an email telling that someone logged into my account. I have reinstalled the app several times but that does’nt help. It did work once, at my first trial….I also wonder how to remove a Home from the app.
You cannot delete empty homes, but we can do it for you. A virtual home without any product is not visible in the app.

Permanently deleted user
Additional coment: I think I have done some mistakes in the installation. I first installed it in our home which seemed to work, but then i brought it to our summerhouse were we want to have it. Then I created a new Home but it was not possible to add the station as it still was added to my first home. I have not found were to edit/manage homes or where to delete them? In my Apple Home it says: Weather station does not answer. I just would like to reswt everything and start over again.

I have the exact same problem as "mariahollander64":
I have the original Netatmo weather app (iphone & ipad, both ios 18.1) and when I try to login in the app, I enter the email & password and click NEXT, but then nothing happens. And I immediately get an email notifying me about a login to the Netatmo account (even though I didnt login).
The original netatmo app seems to be completely broken. What is the solution?
I was able to add my weather station through the Netatmo control app. Login works 100% on browser and login works 100% on the control app and the third party app myatmo. But this third party app is garbage as it requires a premium subscription.
My support ticket is: Netatmo - Ticket 3240690
Can someone help?

Same problem here. I see the devices in HomeKit but registration with netatmo web site does not work. I need to see the data from abroad. HomeKit alone, will not work for me.
The setup process is completely broken. Spent 1 1/2 waiting for configuration etc.

I have the same problem as the people above, first I create the account, no problem and it was last week before I got the weather station I ordered.
Yesterday when I got my product I tried to login through the Netatmo App from my iPhone running Ios 18.1.1, it failed. I have reset the password several times, reinstalled the App nothing helps!!
I really need help to login to my account so I can install my Netatmo products.
Everytime I try to login with correct password I also got an notification through email that someone try to login to my account but nothing else happens…

Hi everyone above me:
Netatmo support sent me a long email and this worked for me.
(1) Remove Netatmo app from Iphone completely. I did it through Settings -> Storage -> Netatmo App -> Complete hard delete
(2) Restart Iphone
(3) Go to Wifi 2.4GHz Signal (I have a German router which has both 2.4 and 5.0 separately). Delete password/connection to any 5.0 network in the area.
(4) Download Netatmo weather app from app store again
(5) Login with email and Password
--> Login worked immediately
(6) Never change anything again. The app seems to have a big allergy with Wifi 5GHz and breaks immediately.

It did not help for me (mikwin62) to remove the app and only use 2.4 Ghz network as mention above. The only thing who helped was to create a new account (my wifes email) and then I finally could log in and start to configure the weather station. This is really not user fiendly product…

Impossible to log in the account, changed password and it work for 10 mins, the again after pressing next and email is sent to my account and not login. Also cannot connect the outdoor module to the main one.
I've lost like 3 hours doing it, with and without batteries...
Need a solution or will return it to Amazon.
Using iPhone 14 plus with iOS 18.3.2.

I am running into same problem. I set up the app on iPad, and then I could not log in with the password, I can’t get past the next button. The password works fine on the website. I keep getting emails saying someone is attempting a log in, each time I put in the correct password. So, cannot get to the app to complete set up of devices.

Hi, I've the same problem at the moment. I've deleted all apps, all connections but I cannot log in. A further new account doesn't work as well. Log-in to the web site does work, but not to open the app an to use the devices I like to install. I also can't find any possibility to contact the support. I always come to the FAQs but this doesn't solve the problem.

Hi all: I was able to resolve very easily with the clue that it is due to the app trying to ensure you’re on a 2.4ghz wifi connection. I connect my iPad to the internet using a wifi USB C dongle, so I was not using wifi at all. As soon as I did that, it logged in no problem.
So, there is (my own private opinion) a bug or bad design decision in the app. again, my own opinion is that for all smart home devices that need wifi credentials, when an app makes an initial connection to the device over wifi or Bluetooth, the user should be able to specify: an SSID for the wifi network; the password. I am betting that many users run into headaches trying to keep a separate IoT wifi network, as security demands, when apps seem to force you to switch to that IoT wifi, or some frequency requirement, to get it to work. This is an extreme case, where login enforces a 2.4ghz requirement.
NB these dongles are pretty cheap, and I use one when I want extra security using an app

I add a note that I had endless headaches getting it to recognize the rain meter. The paper says the station needs to be more than 10 cm away, the app says the opposite, and it only worked when I put it right beside the weather station. Also, getting it to recognize the weather station required numerous resets of it re HomeKit. The hardware is superb, but the design of the app and configuration and the documentation has been the least optimal re user experience. Now that it’s working I’m happy.
