Modulating relay stopped connecting to the internet today Answered

Hello. The modulating relay stopped connecting to the internet today. The green light doesn't blink when it is powered on and every minute it makes 2 relay click sounds. In the application I mostly see "modulating relay unreachable" but if I tap Retry within a few seconds after the 2 click sounds, the application displays the thermostats in the house which means that the relay manages to connect to the Netatmo servers. But it probably resets again because I can only get to the normal screen once if I tap Refresh right after I hear the two relay clicks in the Modulating Relay.

Any idea what the issue might be or suggestions for a solution?

    I'll add myself to the list of users having the exact same issue. I have opened a support ticket, and I'm waiting for a reply.

    It looks like we have all been crowdstroke (or they've been hacked). How "lucky" we are that this happened in September and not in January...

    Same here.  Belgium.  Removed relay from Netatmo app and Apple homekit and tried re-adding.  App times out and only option left is to "stop" the installation and then I need to start all over again, which has the same end-result ....

    Got the message that the issue should be resolved but I still experience the same issue:

    - The green light flashes 5 times every couple of seconds

    - The relay clicks

    This keeps on repeating in a loop

    I confirm it is working. Thank you.

    I had to disconnect the power first. Then it started properly

    I can confirm my relay is back to working order. I join the question, some technical details about what caused the issue and what steps will be taken in order to prevent this from happening again in the future.

    Especially considering that there's no "offline" mode and when there's an issue we're completely without any way to control our boilers. At least mine, when it's wired to be operated as Opentherm, it disables all local controls.
