    Hello
Here is the message I received, hope your camera is still under warranty good luck :

According to the analysis of the technical data, your device is defective, i.e. there is a problem with the optical block. This cannot be repaired and is no longer covered by the warranty. We are therefore unable to take responsibility for it.

It’s surprising, because for me the camera works when I watch in live and ring the bell. It’s only when I try to watch a recording of an event, the the error -1100 appears.

That's interesting, mine started to have the same error since around few weeks ago, now out for the warranty repair

My doorbell camera also seems fine. Live video works and I get notifications if a person is detected.
If I try to play a recorded video the following error is displayed:
Something went wrong. If the problem persists, please try again later or contact the support. Error code : (-1100).

    The problem started January 21.

    Older videos plays fine.

I’m also getting the 1100 error on one of my outdoor cameras since this morning. Seems quite a coincidence that we’ve all started having this issue within the space of a few days doesn’t it?

Yes that's what I think too, I think of planned obsolescence... plus it happens exactly 3 months after I no longer have a guarantee. Are you also still under warranty?

Mine is well out of warranty I'm afraid, it is around six years old now.

It seems odd that we are all having this problem right now; A Google search for "Netatmo error code 1100" reveals basically nothing except this thread - surely with the thousands of these cameras out there someone would have experienced the problem before. Why have we all got what appears to be a new fault within the space of a few days? Surely this is more than coincidental?

I tried leaving the affected camera powered off overnight but it has not resolved the problem.

Yes, pretty terrible from Netatmo. Do you guys know how to get them follow this thread or how to contact them? I can’t even find the way to do it.
Just FYI, since a few days my error code has changed to:
Error code (code: 1). Any other have seen this change?

You have to open à ticket, on the help center, first you have to sélect the product and then see if the question you have is not in the FAQ and them you can find a link to open a ticket but you have to search …

I'm still getting only the 1100 error.

Thought I might try a different SD card in mine just as a test, doubt it will make any difference though.

I have sent a ticket as advised through the help centre. As I don’t know what the error code 1100 relates to so it is difficult to go through all the various faqs. Anyhow I have sent it off. Watch this space .

I have three Netatmo outdoor cameras. One of them doesn’t work because the infrared lights don’t turn on at night. Another one doesn’t work because it can’t read the SD card. And the third one gives error 1100. What should I say about the quality of Netatmo? What should I think? Is there any solution? Question: Do you have any idea if there are competitors, companies, or rival products that are worth considering?

Just received this from the help centre. I have had to reply to them that the camera and light are not working permanently.

    "Hello,

Thank you for contacting Netatmo Customer Service. I will gladly assist you with your request.

Regarding the error code 1100, this typically indicates a problem with the device’s connection or communication, often related to network settings or firmware. It can occur when the device struggles to connect to the server or network due to a temporary issue or misconfiguration.

If the error happens again or you need further assistance, feel free to reach out."

I received the same reply from support as you did a.paul. I have noticed as well as the inoperative camera and floodlight that the night vision LEDs do not work either. Can you still play back old recordings and access the settings from the app?

No I can’t play them. If I try I get error code 1102.

I’ve just double checked and previous recordings playback is 100% fine on my camera. Having just reviewed some recordings it occurred to me the we had heavy rainfall and high winds for several hours on the day before mine failed; I’m wondering if water has penetrated the camera and caused the problem.

    Hello,
Error 1100 vanished. Now the device resumed and all is ok with this camera. I still have another camera not able to tead the SD card
Aldo another one that is not able to turn on the infrared light

Same as enea3. Error code also vanished and camera appears to be working correctly.

The only thing I have done is switch the device off for 24hrs. When I switched it on this morning all appeared to be working. It connected to my wifi with out using QR code and appears to be recording with playback. I won't know if the light or infrared is back working until tonight, but fingers crossed.

I still have the problem on mine, I’ll try leaving it switched off for 24 hours too and see if that helps. I didn’t get any further response from Netatmo support so I assume they don’t know what to do with it either.

Same error here ‘1100’. The floodlight wasn’t working for a couple of weeks. Unfortunatly out of warranty…

Mine mysteriously started to work again last night after well over a week of the 1100 error. I tried hheckmann's advise above, translated here:

I had the same problem; Solution: Remove and reinstall the memory card, dry the device with a hair dryer.

The system has been working without any problems for 3 days.

After that I left the camera powered off for a further period of over 24 hours and when switching it back on it began to work again. I don't know if it was the heating or the powering off that solved the issue but thank you to a.paul and hheckmann for their advice. Fingers crossed that it keeps working now!
