Installing new thermostat

I am replacing a new Netatmo thermostat because the existing one numbers are unreadable. Is it a straight replacement or do I need to install the new relay that has come with the new thermostat. Thanks Phil Boston (an early reply would be appreciated as I have an electrician coming on Friday 7th feb)

    Hi,

    Each Thermostat is factory-paired with its Relay. You have to replace the whole kit.

    I jist replaced the whole kit for the same reason. Now the phone app won't work, either from old kit or new kit. Says relay is unreachable even though wifi router recognises it as connected. I am extremely disappointed.

    I have just moved into a new house with Netatmo installed and I cannot connect to the thermostat or anything and my heating does not work and neither my hot water

    I've posted and reposted and no response. amazon replaced my netatmo kit - this is the third one - and can't get the phone to connect. Thermostat talks to relay, and wifi router says it's connected to the relay - but phone app says relay is unreachable, just after it gives the happy news that it's joined. Is there a flaw in your server software? Last time I had connection according to your dashboard was 2 February. since then three separate devices have not worked, and using different phones. I've split the wifi signal and set everything to 2; I tried changing channel to 6 and 11, but nothing has worked. And how do I contact your support team please? the web page is blank.

    Is there a reason this query is not responded to please? Will setting up a new account fix it? Mybschedilenisnstill working and that is ok for now but inwant to change it for next week and i can't. Help please.
