I changed batteries earlier fine but this time I have the same result: I can see the meter but it doesn’t have any values.
One difference between those batterychanges is that this time the batteries were really empty i.e. I haven’t get any values for 3 months. I just didn’t have time to change batteries until now.

I had the same problem with the outdoor temperature sensor. I have tried everything to ger connection. And no response from Netatmo.
I'm going to throw it out now.

My anemometer has worked well almost five years and I have changed batteries couple of times but now it works ok after battery change few days but then it eats up the batteries. What's wrong?

FYI: I submitted a post here outlining my experience with a failed Wind Gauge and the support response I received, including a reference to Finnish consumer law. However, the post was never published, and I received no notification or explanation for its rejection. I believe transparency about product reliability and customer service is important for all users, and I hope this feedback will be acknowledged.

Hello, It seems reconnecting the anemometer after battery change is problem for many here in the community. I have asked Netatmo support several times through Reklamation24 (#694943) for help and never got a reply. This is not what I expect from a company which claim for the products to be on the leading edge; the only thing that is on the leading edge is the price. My anemomter shows after the bat change the green LED that signals the ready status for reconnecting - but then nothing happens. I did thoroughly follow many times the instructions step by step without any delay but the communication between the main station and the wind gauge could not be established. Even after a "factory reset" the wind gauge remained dead. The rain, outdoor temperature and indoor sensor are working perfectly and never showed an issue after battery changes. I'm still hoping for Netatmo support once they woke up from their deep sleep...
