Difference between Netatmo Smart Modulating Thermostat vs Smart Thermostat?
Can you briefly describe the difference between these two, I'm asking this because there used to be only one.

Hi,
The difference lies in the way heating is controlled: the standard Thermostat switches the heating ON and OFF (dry contact), while the Modulating Thermostat adjusts the heating power. As a result, it offers greater comfort and energy savings.
To use the Modulating Thermostat, your boiler must be OpenTherm compatible. Please check for an OpenTherm logo on your boiler — it may be hidden behind a removable panel.
You can also check the presence of OpenTherm thermostat ports in your boiler’s manual.
