Has Dropbox changed ?
I have two Netatmo units a Welcome and a Smart indoor Camera. Since the end of May 2025, they seem to have completely stopped uploading to Dropbox. I checked all the usual things - , such as there isolenty of space, uploading to dropbox is enabled etc. But it seems to have stopped.
Recording to SD card, and access thru't the Netatmo app all work perfectly.
I was just wondering if Dropbox has changed their API , or if anyone else has noticed anything similar ?

I have the same issue with two Netatmo cameras. One stopped uploading on 4th June 2025 at 09.19 and the other same day at 09.21. Deteted and re added the Dropbox accounts with PW & 2FA still not uploading. Deleted a second time and revoked the global Netatmo permissions on the Dropbox website app settings page and re added the two camera again from scratch. New Global permission seem correct on the Dropbox webpage. Still not uploading.
Both camera work fine with the Netatmo app on an iPhone and iPad.
Looks like Dropbox have changed something.

I was glad to see the above comments! Having used Dropbox for many years with my outdoor Netatmo camera it suddenly is not uploading. I have for the last week spent hours removing re-installing changing passwords and every thing I can think of that might be the problem. I now know it is out of my hands! Hope for a solution soon!
As of this morning ( 17 June 2025 ) something may be changing. I now have one file showing movement detected from my Outdoor Welcome camera and floodlight. Unfortunately it is a just a Zero length .ts file
Has anyone tested out the ability of the units to FTP to storage ?
No Indoorcamera is uploading to Dropbox as before. Even the Settings in the APP can be confirmed an the settings are not safed!
I have the same issue of nothing uploading to Dropbox from my two Netatmo Presence cameras that have been happily uploading for many years. Before looking here I wasted time resetting everything up from both cameras. Finally I found that if I chek Manage Access for the Netatmo folders in the Drpbox app I get a Message which says: Exception in 2/sharing/validate_folder_path: {".tag":"bad_path","bad_path":"contains_app_folder"}.
Netatmo, any likelihood of this being fixed soon?
Videos of all my Netatmo cameras (10 Cameras in 2 properties) are no longer uploading to the Dropbox since 4th of June. Please help.
I can confirm that my two Netatmo devices started uploading to Dropbox again this morning (Wed 25th June 2025) at 8.27AM and 8.41AM. Thanks for sorting this out.
My Outdoor Camera is now uploading to Dropbox but my Smart Indoor Camera is not. I have tried disconnecting from Dropbox and resetting the connection, but I can't get the Smart indoor Camera to upload although it says it is Linked to Dropbox.
Is a firmware update needed and if so is there a way to force it to update to upload firmware manually ? My firmware is 5.24.0 The WiFi Signal is shown as 4 curves so there is a good connection.
Videos from my Smart Indoor Camera are correctly stored and viable thru' the app or by going to netatmo.com , but the security of knowing that files are safely in the Cloud is very valuable.
Any advice or ideas please ?
