Netamo wind gauge
I am very satisfied with my Netamo weather system except for the wind gauge. I 'feel' that it is showing lower measurement compared to what my weather apps, weather company SHMI is reporting....

I have the same problem. The wind gauge is showing far too low measurements.
Hi Kenneth, How have you mounted it?
Smart Anemometer – Physical installation and precautions – Netatmo
"According to the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), the standard height at which the wind should be measured is 10 meters and on an open field. These are the conditions in which weather forecasts are calculated where airports take their measurements. The reason is that the closer we are to ground level, the more the wind speed reduces and there are obstacles or the irregularities on the terrain, such as buildings or trees which create turbulence."
It's mounted on the roof I live in a house with two floors....
I suppose you have done this already but in case you didn’t, just as with the temperature and rain gauge you can calibrate the Anemometer, or to be correct, the way its data is interpreted.
You can input the height of its placement above ground level. As Netatmo shows you the calculated wind speed at 10m the value of its actual height at which the measurement is taken in consideration.
Now it shows you the speed and direction at your location. Which is VERY dependent on the obstacles surrounding your point of measurement.
