How to connect HOMETOUCH by BTicino?

Hi!

According to the BTicino website (https://www.bticino.com/tools/app/door-entry), the HOMETOUCH 7-inch displays are compatible with the Home + Security app. Other materials related to the "new" Netatmo apps confirm it as well. However, within the Home + Security app, the HOMETOUCH is not amongst the options when trying to add a product. Interestingly enough, there's a "Netatmo Security" page on the HOMETOUCH where I was able to log in with my Netatmo credentials (it says it was successful) but then it shows a blank page with a single "Confirm" button. Nothing happens when I press that button and the page shows the login screen again if I leave it.

Has anyone been successful with that? The Door Entry app is catastrophically bad and I have (little) hope that Home + Security is at least a little bit better...

    Hi Jonas,

    Thank you for reporting this. This is indeed a mistake, and I will forward it to the relevant team.

    You are correct, the H+S app does not allow you to install Hometouch. Although the page indicates that the app is compatible with the BTicino device, the rest of the content appears to refer to a different app, which is the Door Entry app.

    Thanks for the update. Could you also ask that team why there are settings on the Hometouch to log in with the Netatmo account, if it's not compatible?
