The weather station has stopped working

bullakio

Since August 26th, my weather station has stopped sending data, and the app indicates it's not connected to Wi-Fi. The station has been working for years without any major issues. I've tried reconfiguring it from scratch, but although the entire process seems to be successful, the result is the same. From what I've seen online, Netatmo is having issues with its products and the Wi-Fi connection. Can anyone help me? Thank you.

J'ai le même problème en France.
Le Wi-Fi se connecte et se déconnecte toutes les 5 minutes…
Et ce, malgré la réinitialisation de la station.

    Hi Giada,

I've read (and followed) the "Welcome - Forum guidelines" before I submitted this post.

You have said that "We have not encountered any issues with Wi-Fi connection on our products." but if you google it, you'll find hundreds of people with the same issue (and all these replies here with the same problem confirm that). I think acting like an ostrich isn't the most professional approach if you want to be considered a serious company... but that's up to you (and your products aren't exactly cheap).

I understand from your response that the company is ignoring this problem.

My Netatmo weather station has stopped working. When I try to update the firmware, the update fails about 1/4 of the way through. Has anyone found a solution or workaround?

My weather station has the same trouble , done all the same action’s and the result is , nada , nothing , ingeting helps , is it time to get another weather station that work’s , and the manufacturer live up to there responsibility, perhaps that would get the netatmo to solve this problems !!!

I have just been trying to get mine connected to WiFi…it’s not working. Tried several times and it now comes up with “internal error, try again”…and I have tried and tried again…still nothing. Unplugged it and plugged it back in again…several times and nothing..even tried moving it closer to the router…nope…I need to add two new modules (outdoor module broke so ordered a new one plus an additional indoor sensor-so really need to get this working). If it won’t work-there is no point in even having these new modules so I may as well send them back. Get myself a proper weather station that does work!

I had the same issue and deleted the app on my iPhone and reinstalled it. When I finished, the outdoor and indoor modules were back.

I get help from support and now my weather station is back in online

    Hi Markus,

Please follow these steps for an alternative installation using your computer (Mac / PC / Linux):
    Wizard for Mac
    Wizard for Windows
    Wizard for Linux

    • Open the software
    • Click Next
    • Connect the station to your computer with your USB cable

If your computer doesn’t detect your station:
Check that an antivirus or security software does not filter USB input/output.
Try changing the cable and/or port. Try with another cable/port.

    • Wait until it asks you to configure WI-FI and follow the instructions

If your station can’t find or connect to your Wi-Fi:
    *Please try restarting the router
*Make sure 2.4gHz WiFi is active and visible
*Make sure authentication is WPA or WPA2 (WPA3 is not supported).
*Make sure the SSID name and password do not contain any special characters or spaces

    • Unplug the USB cable and connect to the power plug
