The English version of the web site has a lot of French in it

A good number of years ago when researching video doorbells, etc., I learned of Netatmo, and liked the features, that fact that there is no subscription cost, and that my data is not passing through/stored on Amazon/Ring web servers. The netatmo web site generally has good content, but even though I'm on the English language site, it has a lot of French language content, with important English parts missing. This has been the case for many years:

Years ago, I bought the (now discontinued) Smart Video Doorbell. I was able to get it to work over wifi briefly, but it would always stop working, even though it was in the same room as the wifi, and had excellent signal strength. I worked with tech support, and could not get it to work properly. They told me I needed to go find some other network to test it on. I worked in IT for 40 years, and that advise did not sit well with me. I let the device sit unused for years (granted, my decision) but now want to try it again with my new eero wifi mesh network.

I'm also considering buying the smart outdoor camera (without siren), but the number of posts here explaining the unit is unreliable, as well as my negative Smart Video Doorbell experience, and the fact the much of the information I need displays as French, is making consider some other brand. netatmo is more expensive, but I'm willing to pay the price if the equipment works as promised, and can get support to solve problems.

I wonder if Legrand really doesn't care much about the English-speaking marketplace. If it did, it would have all the English site content reviewed, and updated for English, when there is French in it instead. Again, the information that is missing in English is vital.

    The site still has a lot of french in it, also in the norwegian version.
