Thermostat not controlling water heater/gas boiler propererly

Thermostat is connected to water heater, and is functioning, but lately it is only turning the gas boiler on for around 20 seconds then shuts off, no chance of rads getting hot water, used to work fine before

    If it’s the Smart Thermostat and not the Smart Modulating Thermostat, you can make a simple test by disconnecting the Thermostat/Relais from the boiler and put a jumper-wire in instead. If your boiler then turns on and stays on, the problem lies with the Thermostat, if not then the boiler itself.

    My Thermostat has been dropped and now my heating is running all the time even though the temperature gauge is showing it doesn't need to run. How do I replace the Thermostat please
