WebApp: a new redesigned interface, find out what is changing and why
Hello,
The WebApp has undergone a major upgrade for users of Netatmo Weather and Energy products. This new version, available on home.netatmo.com, has been deployed since 27 March 2024. It has now a completely new interface, designed to provide access to a single dashboard for monitoring and analysing all the data relating to the Weather, Comfort and Security of your Smart Home.
Why this update?
The historic WebApp (my.netatmo.com) needed to be reworked to enable us to continue our ongoing improvements in terms of security and design. After more than 12 years of loyal service, it needed a thorough overhaul. The new interface uses the most modern tools and integrates our new product architecture based around the two axes of Control and Security. It is now resolutely forward-looking.
What's new?
- Legrand products are now integrated, in addition to Netatmo products.
-
Graph comparison:
- Up to 4 pieces of data can be compared at the same time, from a single product or from different products.
- You can compare 2 periods by simply clicking on the "+" button.
- Products are now grouped by room.
- The My Devices card centralises the wireless reception and battery levels of all your devices.
- The Settings menu has been improved. Manage your account and the users who have access to your Home, download your data and change the order of the rooms, enable the dark mode or change the units of your products...
Users of Weather products:
- Improved data visualization with a new central graph for quick interpretation of your weather data, with a calendar that finally allows you to quickly consult a specific period.
- More detailed weather forecasts, with figures in 3-hour intervals.
Users of Energy products:
- The specific modes (Absent, Frost Guard mode) and the choice of the current schedule are now grouped together for quick access.
- Manual setpoints can be applied room by room.
- The monthly reports have been updated to display more relevant data and help you save even more energy.
What has changed?
Some functions are no longer available in the WebApp, but they are still available in the Weather, Energy and Home + Control mobile apps for iOS and Android:
- Creating, editing or deleting a heating schedule.
- Manage my home (changing the names of the rooms and products, reconfiguring the network, calibrating products, checking the serial numbers, etc.).
Lastly, the monthly energy reports can temporarily no longer be viewed on mobile phones, but only on the WebApp from a computer.
Note
Since the launch on 27 March, many of you have expressed your dissatisfaction with the lack of certain functions or with certain ergonomic choices. We have listened to all your feedback and will continue to improve our WebAapp by taking your comments into account.
We are fully committed to your satisfaction and to help you make the most of this transition. Some improvements have already been added since the launch of the Beta version (changing the order of rooms, checking battery and wireless network levels, etc.), and more are expected very soon.
We hope you will soon find your feet in this new, redesigned version, and we are always keen to hear your comments and suggestions.

Hello,
I understand your need to redesign the interface, but:
1. programming is for sure the most important feature in modern thermostat
2. programming from the smartphone app is very difficult
I will believe NETATMO is doing well when the programming interface will be deployed for the webapp PC interface. Listen to the community people that already posted comments about the need of a webapp programming interface on PCs
You have just KILLED your own product by not supporting the Thermostat properly.
How LOUSY is this for a software decision?
Up to now... the new web app is useless without the dismissed thermostat programming section.
The first impression is also very negative because the dashboard cannot be customized at all.
Running it from MS Edge or Firefox no scrollbar is present (ie you cannot see anything outside the screen)...
Very disappointed.
Very bad decision.
For me, this investment is no longer worth anything.
I will also dismantle and uninstall everything and switch to another provider.
I was previously so sure that I wanted to equip all the rooms.
Have decided (after many satisfactory years) to look for a more stable and suitable 'smart' thermostat. The decision to disable scheduling in the web-app is the most moronic idea that could have been chosen. This is the singular most important and basic function of any thermostat, regardless of whether is 'web' enabled or not. Goodbye Netatmo, hopefully VERY SOON.
Your decision to remove essential functionality from the Web Interface is totally crazy! Many of us do not wish to use a mobile phone to administer and program complex heating schedules. This is a retrograde step and basically for me the final straw. I have been using Netatmo products for many years and have been asking why we have a 10 room limit on the Thermostat - that is totally inadequate for most reasonably sized homes in the UK. Ever since I started asking why there was this limit I have assured constantly that this will soon be addressed.
Instead you have invested your limited R&D into providing a trendy but totally crippled Web Interface. Unbelievable.
One less customer.
I could just about put up with the new web interface but now I'm trying to change my heating schedule to be appropriate to the season and it's a disaster. Reading the other comments I have to completely agree with their sentiments.
I also use a number of Netatmo goods, most recently the alarm system, but I can see there's little point in continuing to invest. Looking elsewhere now.
Customer Support at Netatmo has never been a feature to praise, and unfortunately it's become a farce. Nobody has yet to offer a response as to when (or if) the web-app will be 'repaired' and in light of past support performance I have commenced my due diligence on other manufucturer products. I am leaning towards Google Nest, even though I dislike ALL Google products (except Pixel cellphones). Hive thermostat products are unable to handle heating systems with modutating specs (unless I am not well informed). My last wish is to revert back to Honeywell, as you pay a lot for no great advantage - plus poor scheduling programming.
Just adding my voice. Schedule programming in the phone app is a painful experience, so this is something I always used the web app for. It seems crazy that this feature has now been removed. The web app is virtually useless to me now, and your product is crippled.
I had been considering adding more valves to my setup, but I can't face the idea of programming the extra schedules for them.
This is the worst user interface ever used. Total garbage, like the termostat product draining batteries after your firmware update. Congrats all.
