Not possible to replace outdoor module?

My outdoor module just stopped working. Yes, I have tried to change battery ;) So, jut buy a replacement? Or..? Can't see that it is possible to buy the outdoor module only? So do I really need to buy it together with the indoor module? My indoor module is working just fine.

    Please update the country setting of our shop : locate the country selector in the top right corner of the webpage, then click on the current country displayed (as shown in the image below), select your desired country from the list provided.

    The same happened for me. I sent the home weather station to the seller and after some month a new come back. I work fine but then I could not connect to the weather station and the aneometer and it is not solvet yet.

    Ah, yes, you are right. I spent some time with Google with no success. Nice that you took your time to guide me, thank you 👍🙏😊 Perhaps netatmo could make it a little easier to find ..🤔

    I can only get delivery to Spain or Portugal, in the Swedish webshop it´s not available. Can anyone from Netatmo answer this?

    Of course, we have resellers in Australia. They are MacGear and Legrand (local distributors)

    Thanks for the pointer - they did not come up in my google searches.

    Turns out Legrand is not retail

    MacGear obviously do not stock any replacements. Indeed their website only shows 4 total Netatmo products of which the anemometer and spare indoor module are the only weather items (Search: 4 results found for "netatmo*" – MacGear Australia

    So - clearly not an active Netatmo stockist.

    I despair...

    Legrand is a local distributor, as well as MacGear. This is why we invited you to reach out to them, not only to visit their website.

    If they cannot help, you have to reach out to your reseller, the one you purchased your device from.

    Legrand has a meager set of Netatmo products on their site: NETATMO Solutions | Legrand, and not the ones I'm after to replace the units that have failed outside of the warranty period, and there seems to be no way to place an online order either.

    Looks like Netatmo/Legrand have completely abandoned their previously loyal Australian customers.

    My outdoor module isn't working anymore. It started with connection interruptions a while ago and now it's gone.

    Is it reasonable to just rebuy the outdoor module or should I go for the whole set with main indoor module? (I am also using othe indoor modules, aneometer and rainmeter.)

    I have the system for more than 10 years. Are there significant upgrades?

    I’m in Australia and my Outdoor unit has also failed and my Wind Gauge Anemometer has completely disintegrated in the weather. I need a replacement outdoor unit, but reading about I’m on my own? Very disappointed.

    I could order one by logging on to my account via webbrowser. But it seems to take forever to get it. Been waiting for a week but shipping company hasn’t updated delivery, it was planned for earlier this week.

    Hi Ian,

    I received an email to contact the Australian agent, I called them and the response was flaky at best. The didn’t really know what I was talking about, they asked if I could send a photo of the unit. Very disappointed TBH.

    Hi Doug, thanks for the info.  I'll give MacGear a go but based on yours and previous comments, it sounds like it is virtually impossible to get a new outdoor unit in Australia.

    I would have throught that part of a distribution contract that these local Australian distributors would be obliged to support their base.


    Netatmo support, please correct me if I am wrong.

    I'm also in Australia and cannot find a replacement for my outdoor module.

    It seems like these things don't last long. I even had the outdoor shield on it. It died after being bought just over a year ago. I logged a support request, and they wanted me to prove that it wasn't working by sending a video showing there was no corrosion, then showing me inserting new batteries and then trying to rebind to the main module. You only have to search the web to find how common this problem is.

    It really is disappointing, I spent my money on this product in good faith only to be let down with support here in Australia. Netatmo gave me the contract details of the agent here in Australia, I call and the lady that took my call had no idea what I was talking about. She ask if I could send a picture of it lol

    My Outdoor module just died as well, but I've had the system now for at a guess nearly 8 or 9 years, so I'm happy with the lenght of time, and yes a replacement unit of just the outdoor module would be awesome, yet finding it hard like you all have mentioned as I too am located in Australia.

    Just to clarify, the Outdoor Module is only available for purchase through our official website. However, our e-shop unfortunately doesn’t currently ship to Australia.

    If you have a contact in a country where we deliver, they could place the order on your behalf and forward it to you in Australia.

    If this isn’t an option, I’m truly sorry to say that, for now, we don’t have an alternative solution available. I completely understand how disappointing this is, and I’ve shared your feedback with our team.
