It is normal that the camera is warm to the touch. Indeed, the aluminum body of the camera serves as a heat sink in order to extract the internal heat from it without using a fan or ventilation. The **Indoor Camera** system has been designed not to overheat. It allows high performance while maintaining a good condition for internal components. Its operating temperature corresponds to the safety standards of **IEC 60950-1 - Information technology equipment - Safety**.
We recommend not to place the **Indoor Camera** under direct sunlight or near a strong heat source, but please be assured that the processor has and internal hardware protection that automatically cuts power to the processor in the event of overheating to prevent any damage. It is true that the camera heats more than most other electronic devices because it operates many greedy operations in order to be able to process your data locally. Not having a fan to actively dissipate heat, it will have a high operating temperature.

Hi, same for me. But it’s not warm, it’s super hot. It’s so much hot that I can’t touch it for more than 2 second without burn my finger. Is it normal? It’s summer here (30+ celsius degree) but this seems not normal to me. It happened to me also in the past and I solved replacing the AC power. Is it possiboe it’s a AC power related issue?
