Thank you for the suggestion. I have not been available to call Netatmo yet, but I feel they will not be able to do much, because they don't even sell the doorbell anymore.

Doorbell stopped working and is now growling (static coming from the unit)
I have changed the SD card and the problem continues. Also very hard to find a customer service email address to ask the company. I very much enjoy the system being hardwired in to the power supply...
