We recommend to not unplug the Smart AC Controller when you are away, because the remote control would then not be available anymore, and the temperature and humidity history would not be generated.

Long term absence

For a long term absence, we recommend to use the OFF mode, to guarantee that the AC stays switched off. You can activate this mode from the blue button at the bottom of the main dashboard of the Home + Control app.

Note :  
If you also have a Netatmo Smart Thermostat in your Home, we recommend you to use the Frost-guard mode. The temperature of this mode is adjustable in the Menu > Schedule > modify the temperature. The Smart AC Controller will be set to OFF by default.

Short term absence

For a short term absence, we recommend to use the Away mode to reduce your energy consumption. The temperature of this mode is adjustable in the Menu > Schedule > modify the temperature. You can activate this mode from the blue button at the bottom of the main dashboard of the Home + Control app.

Use the Eco-Assist feature

The Eco-Assist feature allows you to automatise the activation and deactivation of your air conditioning taking into account your location. For more information about the feature and its configuration, please refer to "What is the Eco Assist feature?".
