If your camera has trouble identifying faces, persons or animal, there are different actions you can take to help improve its performance :
Improve the persons/animal detection performances of the camera
- In your timeline, tap the three-dots ... button next to the detection event that was misidentified.
- Tap on Improve detection
- Select the correct detection type & click Confirm
Note: If you select the type Other, the camera will try to filter similar events in the future.
Improve the face recognition performances of the camera
Unknown face detected
- In your timeline, tap the three-dots ... button next to the face recognition event that was not recognized
- Tap on Identify
- Select the correct profile & click Confirm
Wrong profile recognition
- In your timeline, tap the three-dots ... button next to the face recognition event that was misidentified
- Tap on Wrong person?
- Select the correct profile & click Confirm
Not a face
- In your timeline, tap the three-dots ... button next to the face recognition event that was not recognized
- Tap on "Not a face" & tap Confirm
Improve the general performance of the camera
If you want to contribute to the general performance of Netatmo cameras, you can follow the steps described below:
- Open your Home + Security app
- Go to Settings > My account
- Go to Improvement programs > Improve the detection of cameras
- Please read the details of the program at the top
- Select the cameras of your homes on which you consent to share data (static images recorded by your cameras)
Note: If you have several cameras in your Netatmo homes, you can choose to share data on only one or some of all cameras.
