The Smart Opening Detectors for Doors and Windows are only compatible with the first‑generation Netatmo Indoor Camera.
If this is indeed your situation — meaning you are using a first‑generation Indoor Camera — please proceed as follows:
- Unplug the Indoor Camera for at least one minute before plugging it back in.
- Once the camera is operational, disable surveillance (icon in the upper‑right corner of the app).
- Make sure the camera and the sensor are placed less than 20 cm apart (if possible).
- Launch the sensor setup.
- Wait for the camera’s LED to start blinking.
- Insert the batteries into the Sensor.
Try pairing the detector again. If it has already been installed on a door or a window, feel free to move the camera close to the detector rather than removing it from its support.
