For optimal detection, follow these recommendations:
- Recommended installation height: approximately 2.5 metres.
- Detection angle: adjust the angle to approximately 25°.
- Direction of movement: the PIR sensor detects people better when they move perpendicularly (passing in front of the sensor), rather than walking straight towards it.
Locations to avoid
- Near large metal objects
- Under high-voltage lines
- In areas with strong air currents
- Near sources emitting microwave signals at the same frequency as the sensor
The Outdoor Light shares the same mounting system as the Netatmo Smart Outdoor Camera. Both products can be installed side by side for a harmonious facade.
