You can decide which events will automatically trigger the alarm in the Alert & recording settings section of the settings menu. Indoor Cameras can trigger the Siren if nobody is at home:
- when an unknown face is seen.
- when a human motion is detected: this means the Camera has seen a human shape but has been unable to see the face of the person.
- when an animal motion is detected.
- when an ""other motion"" is detected: this includes motion detection events that could not be classified as human or animal by the camera.
If you enable the alarm to automatically sound for one or some of these options and it is triggered, it will first allow some time for you to show your face to the Camera and disarm the alarm. This time is called the ""entry delay"", and its duration can be adjusted to your needs in the Alert & recording settings page of the alarm. The Indoor Siren will be emiting a beeping sound during the entry delay. If a known face is identified during this time, the Siren will stop beeping and disarm. Note that the entry delay is silent on the siren of the Outdoor Camera. If no one has been identified by the end of the entry delay, all the sirens of your home will start sounding loudly and all the Outdoor Camera's floodlight will start flashing if they're in Auto mode.
The Sensors can also be set to automatically trigger the alarm from their Alert & recording settings.
The Outdoor Cameras cannot trigger automatically the alarm.
If you want to stop the alarm from going off automatically for a short period of time, go to your app's dashboard. Open the "House alarm" tile and switch off the "Automatic triggering" option.
