The Indoor Camera allows you to have different settings when a known person is at home than when everyone is considered away, so that you can increase the security level when your home is empty.
It also allows you to create profiles for each person at home, you can customize when these people should be recorded or their presence at home should be notified in the "People" section of the Alert and recording settings. You can also define how long after a known person has been seen by the camera they should be considered away.
The other available settings are located in the "Indoor Cameras" section of the security settings:
- Unknown faces: these events are generated when the Camera sees a face unknown to it. They will always be recorded and you can choose to be notified or to automatically sound the Siren too, if you have one.
- People: these events are generated when the Camera detects motion caused by a human body whose face cannot be seen by the Camera. You can decide to ignore, record, send a notification or sound the Siren for these events.
- Animals: these events are generated when the Camera detects motion caused by an animal. You can decide to ignore, record, send a notification or sound the Siren for these events.
- Other motions: these events are generated when the Camera detects motion but cannot classify it as human or animal. You can decide to ignore, record, send a notification or sound the Siren for these events.
- Alarms: these events are generated when the Camera hears an alarm, such as a fire alarm. You can decide to ignore or to record and send a notification for these events. Note that the microphone of your Cameras need to be enabled in the advanced settings of each Camera.
Note that if you decide to automatically sound the Siren for some of these events, it will first play a warning sound before sounding loud. This warning sound plays during the entry delay time, which can be customized in the Siren settings. During this time you can identify yourself to stop the Siren.
