Videodoorbell fuse blows every now and then
Hello,
I bought my video doorbell in 2020 and most of the time it works fine.
Looking back, however, it seems the doorbell has a slumbering issue that causes the doorbel fuse to blow. One of the two fuses delivered with it went out during installation. Since then the doorbell has "consumed" the other 500mA fuse and 4 more 630mA (slow) fuses as well.
I have a "ding dong" type doorbel connected and use a 12V 2A transformer since a regular 8V 1A transformer proved to be underpowered.
Any suggestions on how to keep the doorbell from "eating" fuses?
Kind regards, Peter.

I actually do have the same f..g problem. It was still doing "DingDong", but did stop responding in the app. I just pressed Reboot... and boom, fuse dead. How actually is this possible? Very annoying behavior. It is my 3rd fuse in 1 year, not really happy with this product anymore.
I bought video doorbell few years ago. I am powering the doorbell with 12V. It has worked well for almost 2 years, but now it has started to blow fuse every week or so (300mA as the original on). What May be the reason for this? Can I change to a bigger fuse or is there maybe some issues with my power supply? (I confirmed that 12V comes to doorbell)
I was contacted by Netatmo support and they were so kind to send me a heavier, 1A fuse. Since I have this fuse installed it has not blown for over 2 months. I waited a while to report succes since I wanted to be sure that the fuse would not blow.
Thanks Netatmo support!
I also changed a bigger fuse to my doorbell and it has worked over 2 months now.
Hi Netatmo support - I'm suffering from the problem: the fuse keeps blowing. Can you please contact me as I'd like to order the stronger 1A fuse as well?
