Hello,
I confirm that the Door Lock is meant to be used only if the inside part of the Door Lock is safe.
The indoor part is not waterproof. As it contains the batteries and the motherboard of the device, if it rains or at least if the humidity is too high, those conditions may damage the Door Lock.

Unfortunately, despite the high price, support is very poor.

For the outside I don't think there are any problems, but personally I wouldn't trust leaving the ‘inside’ part exposed to the elements.
