Grouping valves in a single room

ranjtpatel
Is there any way to group multiple valves in a single room so they will all stay on until a set temperature for all of them is reached?

If you put them in the same „room“ in the app, then they will appear and act as a single unit.

Thanks, I have this done but they still appear as individual valves and can be set individually (I'm probably ok with the latter if that all stay on till the last valve hits target.

In this kitchen, living room and playroom valve 1 should all be in the same "room" (garage in this case as I know no other valves are set to this)

To me it looks like you have every Valve in it‘s own room.

Go to settings, „manage my home“ and add/name as many rooms as you need.
Then navigate to the individual Valves in the settings, tap on the 3 dots next to the Valve‘s name and then „move“ and choose the room you‘d like.
If more than one Valve is added to a room, you will only see one temperature indicator for that room on the main screen.

The 3 valves are in the "garage" room, which I moved them to after trying several others.

What is wied is if I go into setting, manage home the list of rooms is different, it just shows each of my valves names, not the big list of rooms I get when assigning each valve to a room?

Thanks, the first screenshot indicates that you have single rooms with only one Valve each in them.

On the second screenshot your‘re not changing the Valve‘s room, you‘re editing the room „type“.

To move Valves between rooms, go to one room, tap on the Valve and on the screen where it shows „Configuration - Identify - Calibrate the valve“ and so on, tap on the 3 dots in the upper right corner next to the Valve‘s name and then choose „move“.
And then you will be presented with a screen that says „move device into new room“.

Can you confirm the how the valves work - I'd like ALL valves to remain on until every valve hits the target temp. It looks like each rad is switched off individually once it hits the target. I have one rad which needs the other 2 to stay on to heat a big open plan area.

If you now correctly placed them all in the same room in the app, they should all act synchronized and also display the same temperature.

But yes, if heat is requested for example, they all don’t open simultaneously but rather with a bit of a delay between them. Has something to do with communication between the Valves and the Relais, I‘d guess.

Also since you have a thermostat, choosing the right mode is important.
