Hello,
If your product appears to be disconnected, please try to restart it electrically (unplug the power supply at least 10 seconds). If you are still facing the persistent green LED issue, please open a request to our customer support so they can analyse your problem and find a solution: https://helpcenter.netatmo.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=5960867010322
What’s going on? Having problems to get the security cameras running! Are you mad? It’s lasting already several days!
I haven’t got more miserable service as from this f******company!
With the new firmware the events have stopped working. I was quite surprised at how quickly you corrected it. These problems should not happen if a minimum of testing were done in the pre-production environment.
Hello, we do have several layers of pre-production environments. There was an incident yesterday impacting several of our Cloud services: https://helpcenter.netatmo.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/19895658525842-02-07-2024-Events-timeline-measurements-issue-SOLVED
I am sorry for the outage. It is not related to the ongoing firmware release on your cameras.
HI, after the firmware update (v.5.22.0 on july 11 2024) my internal camera is disconnected and with a green and fixed LED.
Can you help me, please?
My indoor camera is now dead. No longer showing power. most of outdoor cameras a now uncontactable. Well done guys. great software testing.
My indoor camera no1 doesn’t work anymore. My second indoor camera no2 is working. Since I bought both cameras a couple of month ago, camera no 1 showed continuously problems, locking out/locking in over the whole time. I changed both but camera 1 showed the same problem at place of camera 2. Switched them of as long as I am at home. Now I am going to leave and camera 1 is not anymore recognized at all. LED is continuously green. Tried to configure no1 new but no identification. By the way camera 2 starts to show same problems. I can ensure that my network works perfectly.
I think camera 1 and probably 2 are defect. No1 has no connection to my network and can’t be established and actually no 2 has no connection as well, but sometimes connects again/disconnects. My whole light, heating/cooling and roller shutters are managed with out problems via my WiFi with the same app. Please advise. Regards Hartmut
I initialize the camera Netatmo Wellcome from factory... And everything works correctly. https://helpcenter.netatmo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021184992-How-can-I-reset-my-Smart-Indoor-Camera
Dear Support, I tried now several times again without success. Even a reset doesn`t work. LED is glowing continously green. What ever I try it doesn`t change. I could send some screenshots of alerts connecting/disconnecting continously, which stopped a couple of days a ago completely. I have no connection to my wifi at all. To which adress I can send the screen shots?? Regards Hartmut
I have same problem...
Hello, after the update, it seems that the welcome camera started recording motion regardless of the settings ... :-(
Hello, yesterday everything was ok for about 5 hours. But afterwards and again today, the connection is interrupted every few hours. And I can't watch videos either :-(
I have the same problem; the camera only blinks greenish, but no (re)pairing try is successful. I tried hard reset, but even this one didn't work out. My router even shows a connection; but camera and sensors are not reachable. I am pretty annoyed. What is the recommendation?
Camera updated 2 days ago since then its been unresponsive and not streaming even after power cycling.
Sane as Johnarius I can see see the camera connection in my router but at the moment its an expensive paperweight.
*Update*
I left the camera unpowered overnight then factory reset it, this finally got it back online and responsive.
But there are still two big issues with the camera post update:
1 - IR no longer works, I can see the IR LED glowing and hear the filter clicking when I toggle IR between Auto/ Always On/ Always Off but the image is dark regardless of setting.
2 - Facial recognition is no longer as sensitive, I get plenty of person seen notifications but not many unidentified face notifications which I should be getting bombarded with after resetting the camera and setting it up again.
Update #2: After contacting Netamo support and waiting several days, the facial recognition starting working again as did the IR night vision overnight along with an email from netamo advising me the SD card was corrupt and I would need to get a new SD card and go through the reset procedures.
Given that the camera was now 'miraculously' functioning (mostly) again I'm not going to buy a new SD card for a 3 month old camera. I'll just wait and see how it behaves itself over the next few weeks as facial recognition and IR illumination while working is still not what it was pre-update. This will be the first and last Netatmo or Legrand product we will be buying. Just got a TP Link Tapo C210 and it is outperforming the Netamo Indoor in everyway just doesn't look as nice.
After the latest update, my indoor camera has a connection problem, before it worked very good, now the camera disconnects a few times in every hour and it takes a lot of time to reconnect. Nothing seems to help ....
The camera has been working for over 2 years without any problems. Today when I tried to check the camera, it doesn't show any video and the app says it's not connected. The camera has a solid green light. I've disconnected it, turned it over, connected it via ethernet, connected it to my computer with the windows app and nothing, just a solid green light and no video. The last information about the camera that Homekit shows is that it was with firmware 5.22
Hi, my internal netatmo camera has also started turning off and on again
since it received the 5.22.0 firmware, showing the green LED.
I did a factory reset but nothing, the problem remains,
I made a ticket with netatmo assistance,
at first the technician made me configure it with the Windows PC
but nothing, then he made me replace the SD card with
an industrial one from he recommended it, and did a factory reset
but it seems he still does it although less frequently. I'll let you know in the next few days how things develop.
However, in my opinion this firmware has some problems.
Well, I opened a support ticket for the green light and unresponsive camera issue. They made me connect the camera directly to my Windows computer and to the router via Ethernet and nothing, the camera turns on with a steady green light, the Windows app does not detect the camera and an internal error message appears. Unfortunately, I am out of warranty, I bought the camera in 2019 and it had worked perfectly until the latest firmware update 5.22. The support technician tells me that the camera is defective and cannot be repaired and offered me a 10% discount coupon to buy another one XD.
To summarize, I tried everything that has been mentioned here without success, but I have one thing left that I have not done and I need the help of someone who has the camera working. I noticed that my camera creates a corrupt file on the SD memory with the name ">Ç" without an extension. Maybe if someone shares their SD memory files with me (deleting sensitive files like videos of course), and I copy them to my SD card I'll be able to boot the camera. If someone is interested, it could be the solution for me and several others who have the same problem on the forum.
Greetings.
Hey,
I have the same case but attention -> with a new camera bought a few days ago directly from the Netatmo store.
They exchanged it for a new copy and I am afraid that the situation will repeat itself with another new one.
After the firmware update (v.5.22.0) face recognition is almost not working. 95% of cases camera do not recognize people with profiles and do not suggest face identification either. Instead camera is bombarding you with alerts "Person seen". It's clearly not how camera should be working (how it worked before the update).
After the firmware update (v.5.22.0) my indoor camera has lost it's IR. Really disappointing and now a big security risk without the ability to see anything after dark. The IR still works as I can make it come on manually so the issue must be firmware related as it coincided with this update.
I’m not interested in this kind of problems other users are having!
hgs4mac, many things in life do not interest me. I stay away or move on quickly from these otherwise I find myself putting useless comments on all sorts of things.
Since 2 or 3 days, the camera records everything, even if it recognizes me and I configured it to not record if I'm present. And as I have FTP configured on my NAS, I get notifications when a video has successfully been uploaded. Beware of cloud usage.
Oh, and the camera can no longer be seen in Home (I'm a Mac user).
Unfortunately my camera show just a black screen. No video broadcasting. What should I do now ?
Did any fix this? I got all the problems today
Why isn’t Netatmo all over this and trying to fix it!!! You need to step up and solve this issue
I have the exact same problem with all my cameras, it is connected to the router and HomeKit but in the security app it says it’s not connected and I get notifications a couple of times per day that the cameras are disconnected and back. This is not good at all, what are you doing Netatmo??
Good morning given the absence of Netatmo support which does not help... I sent the cam back and switched to another brand....
Greetings
