The camera stopped recording to HSV and sending notifications from HomeKit after updating to iOS 18. I tried resetting and adding again, it didn't help. Anyone else having the same problem?
@tommaso_san No firmware update. Still on 3.20. I have parity with HKSV recording everything the internal storage has recorded.

Hi, I confirm the error. No recording since IOS18.
Doorbell Camera from Aqara works 100%.

I spoke to soon. After factory resetting the camera to add it to a dedicated IoT SSID, the camera has stopped recording motion events once again.

… and now my camera is recording perfectly. I hope.

Add me to the list :( I'm so glad I found this thread, thanks for posting everyone. I've been tearing my hair out trying to figure out why the Presence v1 stopped recording after many, many months of reliable operation.
All Apple devices are running 18.x and the Presence is on 3.20 firmware. I've removed, re-added and re-Home'd it to a new Home for days, changed settings from Stream -> Stream+Record — all the things you'd usually try — and no HKSV recording.
Will (try to) patently wait for Netatmo to respond... If any Netatmo reps are reading this and need any diagnostic info, please let me know, only too happy to help get this sorted out 👍

All 4x netatmo presence stopped recording since the last iOS/tvos-updates.
Other Cameras are still working.
Using an appletv as HomeHub
@netatmo: please give us an update regarding timeline of fixing that major issue

After updating my Apple TVs to the TVOS 18.1 beta, everything seems to be resolved and the cameras are streaming and recording correctly now. Could be that apple have rectified the issue before Netatmo again

Only partial success for me. As suggested in this thread, I updated my Apple TV to 18.1 (beta) and 2 out of my 4 outdoor cameras started recording (yay!) and the other two remained as before. I have a HomePod mini as well as the Apple TV and the latter is the home hub. I’ll update the version on HomePod too in case it makes a difference for the other 2 cameras (that will be strange but you never know).
Ps: for anyone wondering how to download Beta versions, it’s very easy to suscribe, just google how to do it and in a few clicks you’re done.

Nothing for me..updated my 2 homepod to 18.1 beta but no one of my 4 cameras are working

I updated my HomePod to 18.1, so now both my Apple TV and HomePod are on 18.1. Also power cycled everything but still only 2 out of 4 record on HKSV.

That’s the answer from netatmo support; they know the issue and working. Finger crossed:
“Since 09/25, we have been experiencing issues with several cameras regarding HomeKit and video recording, notifications, and various updates.
It appears to be a problem caused by Apple's new update to iOS 18.
We are still investigating this issue and kindly ask for your patience while we work to resolve it as soon as possible.”

Thanks @tomasso, presumably they mean tvOS and what Apple employees call audioOS (the forked tvOS that runs on HomePods) since that's what's running on the hubs.

Re Stefan83
That's fairly normal for this issue that some of the cameras resume working properly (HKSV recording & smart notifications) for a limited period of time, only to stop working a couple of days later.
In my 4 camera setup, on average 2 cameras at a time seem to work fine, while 2 others don't. In an irregular manner, sometimes some camera drops out of the working pack, while another time another one joins in.

BTW I'm wondering whether network environment may play a role or is it really a general issue affecting all:
A Q for all affected: what routers do you have in your networks?
Mine is Synology on SRM 1.3.1 Update 10.

Overnight my non functioning HKSV outdoor camera began working again also; this is the first time it has done any HKSV recording since the IOS 18 update. The other two cameras have been working throughout albeit unreliably needing several powering off/on for a couple of hours when they drop off HKSV recording/notifications.
A Q for all affected: what routers do you have in your networks?
I'm using a TP-Link Deco XE75 Pro on firmware 1.2.11 build 20240724 rel.38913 connected directly to the FTTP broadband ONT.

2 out of 3 of mine are working today, the one that briefly came back to life earlier in the week went through a phase of going off/online in Apple Home last night and then stopped recording/notifying again.

Are you still on firmware 3.2?

I follow the conversation and it’s frustrating. I bought the cams due to get the totally Support and integration of Apple ICloud and Apple Home Kit. That’s how Netatmo is selling the products.
Cam indoors and outdoors are NOT recording continuously!
Some records are accessible and after a day no longer accessible ! History is gone!
This is not an issue of the individual home network setup as many of us use totally different products and are in different countries (me in Germany)
This issue is between Netatmo and Apple, that’s fact!
It is not understandable that we customers have to research for a solution!
Can we kindly have a serious update from Netatmo professional what the actual plan is?
It seems to me that I have to think about a change!

After both my cameras working on iOS 18, they have suddenly stopped recording through HomeKit once again. Needless to say I’m absolutely fed up with the reliability of this product! Anyone had any successful tips to get them up and running again? It would be nice for netatmo to give us some support

Same here. After updating iOS few days ago, 2 out of 4 cameras started recording on HKSV but 2 days ago of they all stopped again. Fed up with this and thinking on replacing my 4 Netatmo outdoor cameras with Eve but just holding on due to the high expense…

Word of warning @Nacho, I went with Eve Outdoor Cam to begin with, after two cameras completely failed over 18 months I've had a lot more success with Netatmo Presence, even with the update issues. It feels like quite an immature market to be honest.
