The Indoor Camera Advance can be physically set up in 3 different ways:
- Standing on a piece of furniture
- Mounted on a wall
- Mounted to the ceiling
Standing on a piece furniture
Ideally, place the Camera on a flat surface (table, shelf, etc.) at a height between 0.8m and 1.5m. This will allow it to detect movement and best capture people's faces.
Mounted on a wall
Ideally, place the Camera at a height between 1.5m and 2.5m. This will allow it to detect movement and best capture people's faces. You should also place your Camera within 1.80m of a plug socket to ensure that the cable is long enough.
If you install your camera in the corner of a room, make sure that the adjacent wall is at least 5 cm away. This will allow you to easily adjust the viewing angle of the camera.
Mounted to the ceiling
Ideally, place the Camera on a ceiling less than 2.5m high. This will allow it to detect movement and best capture people's faces. You should also place your Camera within 3 meters of a plug socket to ensure that the cable is long enough.
If you install your camera in the corner of a room, make sure that the adjacent wall is at least 5 cm away. This will allow you to easily adjust the viewing angle of the camera.
