Note

When someone invites you to their Home in the app, you can only see the latest status of the Smart Carbon Monoxide Alarm and receive notifications. You’re not able to perform an alarm test.

Instruction

Ask the product owner to send you an invitation by following the instructions below.

To send an invitation

For iOS:

1. Open the settings.
2. Go to “Manage my home”.
3. In “Advanced”, go to “Siri and Apple Home”.
4. Open “Manage HomeKit users”.
5. Go to “Invite people” and type the email of the iCloud account of the user you want to invite.

The invited user should make sure:

1. Home is activated for their iCloud account.
2. Keychain is turned on.
3. The Home + Security app has access to Home data.
4. The settings mentioned above can be found in the invited user’s iPhone, iPad or iPod settings.
