My Netatmo Presence shows the events in the timeline 1 minutes after occurence, but the notifications are sent to my iPhone with a delay of at least 10 minutes. Does anyone have the same issue? How to solve this?

Our engineers have been alerted about this bug concerning the notifications and a fix has already been deployed. We keep monitoring the situation as some delay might still occur under certain circumstances.
If you keep facing difficulties, we recommend to temporarily disable the "Smart Notifications" in your application. To do this, please follow the below :
Go to the general menu of the Home + Security application by selecting the gear icon at the bottom of the screen
Select Alert & recording settings
Turn OFF "Smart Notifications"
Your notifications should then be more responsive.

Having the same problem for past 2 weeks. Delay can notify upto an hour or two later. Quite alarming when this is late at night.

Very bad improvements since last update!!! I have the same problems! I'm getting 20-30 min delay in messages! Very bad! Please solve this problem, it is not a camera for security anymore!

Hi, same problem with my dorbell camera since some days. Notification sent 30 minutes after reel event.
Tried to set Google DNS servers adresses as advised on support on my router. (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4).
Seemed to work à wile but now delayed again :-(
I opened a case on support today …

Same Here. For two or three weeks notifications are 30 minutes delayed. Very frustrating! This is THE key feature of the camera and is not working as it should. Please solve it asap. Thanks!

I ditto have the same issue for both doorbell and outdoor camera.
Now not security device anymore. I’ve raised a case to Netatmo as well.

Same for me - getting alerts for things that happened at least 20 mins ago at the moment. This is very annoying especially as I’ve just purchased a camera to replace one that broke and Netatmo told me wasn’t repairable.

Yes I have this problem but I think it is caused by the Smart Notifications option in the Alert and Recordings settings.
Switching that off appears to bring the notifications back to just a few seconds.

Yes same as mine Smart Outdoor Camera seems to be current name. Setting is via the Security app mine us version 6.0.3 (996) in bottom LH corner of settings page

Annoying 10...30 min delays on security camera. Notification comes at same time to my phone and IPad but delay is loooong. I use camera to see customers coming to door. Now they leave before notification comes. Not Good!!!!

The Androd App I'm using is "Home & Securty" it was last updated according to the "What's New" section on the Google Playstore Page is 6 March 2024
However if I open the app then select "Settngs" and go down to the botton of the page it says App Version 4.01.6. So which is anyone got the same?
I only have 3 icons at the bottom of the Settngs Page Left to Right

All I can say is that, after switching Smart Notifications off, I get notifications within 7 seconds of stepping in front of the camera.
They were typically 20 minutes or more late.
