Home member who doesn’t have control

Once your Smart Door Lock is set up in your Home + Security app, only the member of the household who installed the product gets control of the Door Lock. For security reasons, other members of the household will not automatically get control. Instead, they must request it from the household member who has control.

A household member without control of the Smart Door Lock can:

  • Delete an invitation: this means anyone in possession of this invitation will be unable to use it to interact with the Smart Door Lock.


  1. Settings
  2. User management
  3. Guests
  4. Select the Smart Door Lock
  5. Select the invitation you want to delete
  6. Delete this invitation
