I can't share/get control of the Smart Door Lock. What should I do?


  1. Make sure you are within Bluetooth range of the Smart Door Lock. To do this, the household member with control of the Smart Door Lock can activate it using the Home + Security app.
  2. Remove the member requesting control, then re-add them.  Steps 1. Open the Home + Security app; 2. Go to Settings; 3. Select User management; 4. Then, Users in the home; 5. Delete the member requesting control from the house by tapping the “bin” button; 6. Re-invite this user by tapping on the “Invite a user” button.
  3. Increase the brightness to make it easier to scan the QR code.
