In rare cases, an incident affecting a third-party service provider may cause partial unavailability of certain features, especially those related to remote access.
This incident does not affect Netatmo servers. When this happens, the app may display an information message and redirect you to this page to provide additional context.
What happens when an incident occurs?
When a third-party provider experiences a service interruption, certain features relying on its infrastructure may be temporarily unavailable, especially remote access through the app.
Netatmo servers are not affected by this incident. No action is required on your side. We monitor the situation and work with the provider involved to ensure the service is restored as quickly as possible.
What is the impact on your products?
Even in the event of an incident affecting an external provider, your Netatmo products continue to operate independently.
Depending on the type of product:
Cameras continue to record events, and security devices (alarms, door and window sensors, smoke detectors, or carbon monoxide detectors) continue to protect your home.
Heating and climate control products (thermostats, radiator valves, or air conditioning controllers...) continue to regulate heating according to the defined settings.
Switches and connected devices continue to operate in local control mode.
Manual control remains available.
Only features depending on the third-party service may be temporarily limited.
What happens to your data?
Data recorded during the incident is preserved. It is automatically synchronized and available in the app once the external service is restored. No data is lost.
Do you need to take any action?
No. All features are automatically restored once the incident is resolved by the provider involved. We simply recommend waiting for service to return to normal.
