Why does my Doorbell detect a person when there is no one there?

If your Doorbell detects a person when no person is present, you can help improve detection directly from the event.

To do this:

  1. Press and hold the event.

  2. Tap Improve detection.

  3. Select This is not a person.

Please note that this action must be repeated for each incorrect event. The more incorrect detections you report, the more accurate the detection can become over time.

The detection corrections are stored on the SD card. If the SD card is replaced, these corrections will be lost and will need to be entered again.
