If your Netatmo Outdoor Light turns on or off unexpectedly, several causes are possible:
Sources of interference
- Other light sources: the product contains photosensitive electronic components. If other lights illuminate the PIR sensor at night, this can cause malfunctions.
- Large metal objects near the sensor.
- Air currents with temperature variations in the detection zone.
- High-voltage lines or sources emitting microwave signals at the same frequency as the sensor.
What to do?
- Move or remove the identified sources of interference.
- Reduce the detection range (SENS dial towards 3 m) if false triggers persist.
- Check that the installation height is approximately 2.5 m.
