In the Netatmo apps, the Manage my home section gives you full control over your Smart Home setup, including property structures, rooms, and products. You can access these settings directly from the Home + Control or Home + Security app for iOS or Android > Settings > Home Management.
1. Structure & Properties
Rename a home: Edit your home's name from the 3-dots menu/Rename
Change rooms display order: Drag and drop a room to place it higher or lower in the dashboard list.
Home information: Update the geographic location and time zone of your home to ensure accurate weather data, local automation (such as geofencing), and location-based alerts. Define the energy source for heating, home size, electricity contract, etc.
2. Room Configuration
Create & delete rooms: Organize your home layout by adding new areas or removing obsolete ones.
Rename rooms: Update room titles to easily locate devices across the app interface.
Move products between rooms: Reassign connected devices from one room to another without needing to reinstall them.
3. Product & Accessory Management
Device status & information: View detailed hardware status, including Wi-Fi signal strength, battery level, firmware version, and MAC address.
Rename or remove accessories: Change individual product names or unlink unused hardware from your installation.
Firmware updates: Check current firmware status and ensure your devices automatically receive safety and feature updates.
Home deletion
It is not possible to delete a home. However, as soon as all Netatmo - Bticino - Legrand products are removed from it, the home is no longer listed in the home selection menu.
