What is the Eco-Assist feature?

Eco-Assist is a smart feature of the AC Controller which allows you to optimise the usage of your AC when you leave and come home.
Eco-Assist is based on geolocation parameters on your smartphone to detect when you are getting closer to your home or that you are going out of it. It is by default de-activated. 

To guarantee that Eco-Assist works in the best way, beware to:

  1. Give autorisation to access the geolocation service to the Home + Control app in the parameters of your smartphone
  2. Verify the location of your Home declared in the Home + Control app
    Menu > Manage my home > "..." > Home information > Location > You can modify the location of your home
  3. Give autorisation to send notifications to the Home + Control app
  4. Parameter the Smart Alerts in the Home + Control app on each smartphone that you want to use for the Eco-Assist feature

Becarefull, the notifications will only be received on the smartphone that has activated the Eco-Assist feature.

The range of Eco-Assist is fixed and equal to 100m according to recommandations from smartphone operators.

 
Parameter Smart Alerts

The Eco-Assist feature can be activated and deactivated in the "Smart Alert" entry in the parameters of the Home + Control app : Menu > Smart alert.

You can parameter two types of notifications : 

Turn OFF the air conditioning when I leave

When leaving your Home, you will be notified when at least one AC is still ON when you are leaving Home.  
You are also able to activate the automatic action, to automatically turn OFF all the AC that are still ON.
To do so, activate the Automatic Control option in the parameters of your Smart Alert.
You will then be notified that all your AC when correctly turned OFF.
 

Turn ON the air conditioning when I come back

When coming Home, you will be notified when all ACs are still OFF and are not following the schedule.
You are also able to activate the automatic action, to automatically activate the AC. The automatic action consists of setting all the AC that were OFF back the active schedule. 
To do so, activate the Automatic Control option in the parameters of your Smart Alert. 
You will then be notified that all your AC are back to schedule.
