How to calibrate the Wind Gauge?

Wind Speed Compensation

Wind speed is measured at a height of 10 m for weather forecasts. If your measurements seem too low when your Wind Gauge is not installed at this height, it is because wind speed decreases significantly at lower levels.
You can therefore calibrate the Wind Gauge to provide more accurate wind speed readings.

Procedure

To adjust the wind speed measured by the Wind Gauge, you can enter the height at which it has been installed:

  1. Open the Netatmo Weather or Home + Control mobile app on your smartphone.

  2. On the main screen, select the house/Station linked to the module you want to calibrate.

  3. Go to Settings > Manage my home.

  4. Select the room where the Wind Gauge is located.

  5. Click on the module name.

  6. In Configurations, select Wind.

  7. Enter the height at which the Wind Gauge is actually installed.

Note: The default (factory) value is 10 m.
