The Radiator Valve ORIGINAL uses 2 AA (LR6) 1.5 V batteries. When correctly inserted, the valve should boot within a few seconds, and the display will briefly light up, welcoming you with “Hi”.

Please check the following steps:

• Make sure the batteries are inserted in the correct orientation. The + and − markings are indicated inside the battery compartment.

• Use new, high-quality AA (LR6) batteries. Low-quality and rechargeable batteries may not provide sufficient voltage to boot the device and are not recommended.

• The batteries included in the box are alkaline AA 1.5 V batteries. Use the same type for replacement.

• Check that the metal contacts inside the battery compartment are clean and free from dust, dirt, or corrosion that could prevent proper contact.

What happens after battery insertion?

After inserting the batteries, the valve boots and starts a calibration sequence after 10 minutes (if not yet calibrated). You will hear a slight motor noise. This is normal. The calibration takes up to 90 seconds.
