The Smart Video Doorbell can be installed even where no wired doorbell connection already exists, using a power adapter.
Examples:
- With a power transformer (for a 10m cable) that outputs:
Voltage: 24 V DC
Current: 300 mA minimum.
- With a transformer installed in the immediate vicinity of the doorbell, that outputs:
Voltage: 12 V DC
Current: 0,330 mA minimum.
Connecting to a power transformer
Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet inside your home, drill a hole in the wall at the location of the Video Doorbell, and pull the cables through. Then simply connect the adapter to your Netatmo Doorbell.
The Video Doorbell is not connected to any chime. When a visitor rings your doorbell, the ringtone sounds on your phone and can also play on Apple, Alexa, or Google smart speakers!
