My Valve's batteries have nearly run out or have run out.

The Radiator Valve ORIGINAL is powered by 2 AA (LR6) 1.5 V batteries. Battery life is approximately 1.5 years under normal usage conditions.

The battery level is visible at all times in the Home + Control app, in Valve ORIGINAL's device information.
When the battery reaches a low level, a red battery icon appears on Valve ORIGINAL's LED display.
If the battery reaches a very low level, Valve ORIGINAL will stop all thermoregulation actions and its position will default to fully open. This avoids leaving the radiator blocked. If the heating is active, the radiator will heat.

Detach the mechanical control knob from Valve ORIGINAL.
Open the battery compartment.
Remove the old batteries and insert 2 new AA 1.5 V batteries, respecting the +/- orientation indicated.
Reattach the mechanical control knob.
Valve ORIGINAL will reboot automatically and run a calibration sequence. This is normal. Wait approximately 2 minutes.

Do not use rechargeable batteries. Use premium AA 1.5 V alkaline batteries only (e.g., Energizer, Duracell, or equivalent).
