The Thermo Hub has an integrated LED that sometimes changes color to indicate an ongoing process or issue on the device.
The LED is mainly used for debugging purposes, but the following information could be helpful:
When the product is booting, the LED first glow in Green and then changes to solid green. It means that your product is setting up everything to be able to operate.
When the LED is glowing in Blue, it means the product is ready to be installed, has no Wi-Fi configuration, and cannot fully operate. A product that has never been installed will automatically glow Blue after booting, and for 15 minutes, it will allow you to set it up in the app easily.
When the LED is glowing White after booting, it means that the product has a Wi-Fi configuration but is not properly installed in the Netatmo ecosystem. You can follow the installation process in the app to finish the installation (making sure your phone is on the same network), or you can decide to reset the product (more info here).
When the LED is glowing Pink, it means that a firmware update is ongoing. Do not unplug the product during the process. Once the update is over, the product will reboot (and the LED will change to green in the process).
When the LED is glowing Orange, it means that there was an issue happening. If you see the Orange color and you have issues in the app, try to reboot the Thermo Hub. If rebooting has no impact, try to reset the Thermo Hub. If resetting has no impact and the LED is still glowing orange, please send us a message.
