The Child Lock feature is available on both the Thermostat ORIGINAL and the Valve ORIGINAL.
It prevents temperature changes made directly on your product. When Child Lock is enabled, modifying the temperature setpoint from the physical product is blocked. This helps prevent accidental adjustments.
However, you can still change the temperature from the Home + Control app or from a compatible Matter ecosystem.
Enable and disable the lock
You can physically disable or enable the Child Lock directly from your Thermostat ORIGINAL. To do so, wake the device by pressing the central button, then simultaneously press the + and - buttons until a lock icon appears on the display. To unlock it, simultaneously press the + and - buttons until the lock icon turns off.
It is not possible to enable or disable the Child Lock directly from the Radiator Valve ORIGINAL. To enable or disable it, use the app:
- Open the Home + Control app.
- Go to the product settings: Manage my home, select the room, then select the product.
- Turn Child Lock on or off using the toggle.
