Thermo Link / Thermo Hub: What are the differences? What is their function?

The Thermo Hub

The Thermo Hub serves as the system's gateway and the home's brain.
It connects to each module (Thermostat Original, Thermo Link) in your house and manages temperature regulation. The Thermo Hub connects to the internet, enabling remote control via the app.

It also functions as a Matter bridge, exposing all connected Thermostats over Matter, allowing control from any Matter ecosystem.

The Thermo Link

The Thermo Link connects to the Thermo Hub and controls the heating (boiler, heat pump, etc.) by turning it ON and OFF. It is used in wireless setups where the Thermostat does not connect directly to the boiler.

The Thermo Link requires installation via the app; it is not pre-paired.
