The Radiator Valve ORIGINAL includes an open window detection feature that helps avoid wasting energy when a window is opened in the room.
How does it work
The valve's temperature sensor detects a rapid and significant drop in room temperature (approximately 4°C) while heating is active. This pattern typically indicates that a window has been opened.
When an open window is detected, the valve automatically closes to stop heating and avoid energy waste. A notification is displayed in the Home + Control app and lets you decide to keep heating on even if the window is open.
Heating resumes automatically depending on the last action or the active schedule after 30 minutes.
Open window detection is disabled by default but can be activated from the Home + Control mobile app for iOS or Android: Settings > Thermal comfort > Open window detection
