This is normal behaviour. The ORIGINAL system uses a heating anticipation algorithm that calculates how long it takes for your room to reach the target temperature and starts heating in advance to ensure comfort is reached at the right time set in the schedule.

How it works

The algorithm learns from your home's thermal behaviour over time. It takes into account the current room temperature, the target temperature, and historical data to calculate when heating should start to reach the setpoint on time.

The first few days after installation, the anticipation may not be perfectly calibrated. This improves automatically as the system collects data.

This is not a malfunction

If your device starts heating 15–30 minutes before the scheduled time, this is the algorithm working correctly. The goal is to have your room at the target temperature when the schedule starts, not when the device starts heating.

The Anticipation can be disabled in the Home + Control mobile application:
Settings > Thermal comfort > Heating prediction (Auto-Adapt)
