I can't find the ECO/Comfort priority setting for my Radiator Valve ORIGINAL, where is it?

With previous generations of Netatmo Smart Valves, you could choose between Comfort and ECO priority mode, in the Thermal comfort settings. These modes worked as follows:

  • ECO Priority: In this mode, rooms equipped with Valves could not be heated above the temperature set on the Thermostat, even when a higher temperature was required by the heating schedule (unless a Manual Boost was activated from the Valve or from the Netatmo Energy app). The Valves were only used to limit the room temperature, similarly to traditional thermostatic radiator valves.

  • COMFORT Priority: In this mode, rooms equipped with Valves could be heated above the temperature set on the Thermostat when required by the heating schedule. The Valves could request the Thermostat to start the heating whenever needed.

⚠️This setting is no longer available on the new Radiator Valve ORIGINAL!

âś…The system now automatically operates in Comfort Priority mode. This means that as soon as a room equipped with a Valve ORIGINAL requires heating, it can request the heating system to start, even if the room where the Thermostat ORIGINAL is installed has already reached its target temperature.
